This Spongebob episode is an example of comedy because it is funny, and there are several funny characters. Also, it is comedy because it is a television show and it is used to entertain.


IRONY- Contrary to what is expected.



This comic is ironic because the old man cannot find his GPS system. GPS's are used to help you from getting lost, and because of this, it makes it ironic.





PUN- Use if words that are alike in sound but different in meaning.










This is an example of a pun. The sign says "A lot of cars" which could either mean a [parking] lot of cars or a [number] lot of cars.







SLAPSTICK- Physical comedy; Exaggerating physical violence.

This is an example of slapstick because the guy gets a pie smashed into his face. He is physically being hit by the pie, and it is humorous.

Introduction

My name is Morgan Willenbrink, and I am 17 years old. I was born here, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I have lived here all of my life. I attend Anderson high school as a junior, and am looking forward to going to college in about a year and a half. I love to do art, and spend time with my friends. I have two dogs and two cats, so I love animals. My favorite food is ice cream, and my favorite color is turquois. The beach is deffinitely my favorite place in the world, and I will be moving there as soon as I can.
